A daily face polisher filled with water-activated ingredients that will refine your skin's texture. To use: Pour the grains into the palm of your hands and slowly add water to activate the mixture. Gently mix the water and grains together until a lather is achieved, then massage into your skin. Ingredients: Oryza Sativa (rice), Phaseolus Angularis (adzuki beans), Avena Sativa (oat straw), Foeniculum Vulgare (fennel seed), Rosa Dameasca (rose powder), Calendula, Algae (seaweed), Carageenan (irish moss), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) The rice balances your skin tone and is also an anti-inflammatory. The adzuki beans are the foaming agent to help disperse the grains evenly. The oat straw powder soothes inflammation and feeds your skin nutrients. The fennel seed speeds up skin circulation so the nutritious benefits of the other ingredients are absorbed more easily. Rose powder is used as an antioxidant; to heal, nourish and repair. Calendula is used as a skin soother for inflammation or any other aggravated pores. The two seaweeds are used as skin food, to improve blood circulation and cell turnover. The Vitamin C is anti-aging, toning and skin balancing. Vitamin C is especially helpful with skin pigmentation. Vitamin C along with the fennel seed and seaweeds are what may have given you the “flushing” or “tingling” feeling when you first started polishing your face with cleansing grains. It’s also what helps with my skin pigmentation.
